In addition to being an excellent performer, Elizabeth is also a skillful and dedicated teacher. She has been teaching guitar since 1999, and has most recently directed a guitar program specifically designed for children ages 5 through 12 in Los Angeles, CA. She has also taught as a teaching assistant at the University of Southern California and as an instructor at the Culver City Adult School.

Elizabeth currently teaches lessons and small classes for ages 7 and up (children and adults) at her home studio in Davis, CA (www.alabastermusicstudio.com). Lessons focus on development of technical skill using classical technique; awareness of balance and relaxation; sensitivity to phrasing and musicality; and cultivation of good practice habits. Students have the opportunity to participate in ensembles and semi-annual recitals, as well as in music enrichment classes throughout the year.
